Planning an engagement session with Nataliya and Spiro during winter in New York meant that we all had to be a little flexible. Our first session was cancelled right before we were about to leave because of a pretty bad snow storm that blanketed New York and New Jersey in January. Although we would have liked some snow photos, the weather did not permit safe travel, so we rescheduled to another day at the end of January.
Nataliya shared her concern with us about being camera shy as soon as we met at the park. We assured her that this was normal for so many of our couples and we would help her feel relaxed and look natural.
We walked over to Bethesda Fountain and started our session down the stairs, instructing them to just enjoy each other’s company and focus on one another. It was so much fun watching how they made each other laugh and showing how much love and sweetness they had for each other. Spiro loves making Nataliya laugh and we definitely enjoyed photographing those moments.
